We are delighted to invite parents, caregivers and friends to attend the Academic Prizegiving and celebrate the hard work, support and care that is behind each student’s achievements. Invitations have been sent to the family of those who will be receiving an award but we welcome all members of our school community to the evening. The doors open at 6pm and seating is not allocated. Please be aware that once the venue is full, the Bruce Mason Centre reserves the right to turn people away.
We hope you can join us to celebrate our students’ achievement on this special occasion.
Information for students
Dress: The Academic Prizegiving is a formal occasion. Students are asked to wear correct school uniform with pride. T-shirts are not to be worn under blouses/shirts. Shoes are to be polished. Boys, please note: socks to be correctly pulled up. Girls, please note: black socks/stockings only for this occasion. No jewellery other than one plain ear stud in the bottom lobe of each ear may be worn and no piercings. Hair is to be tidy and if possible, tied back (this makes faces easier to see in photos).
Parking: Parking is available beside the Bruce Mason Centre (Wilson Car Park, entry from Killarney Street) or in the surrounding streets.
Arrival: Students must check in with their Year Level Dean in the foyer from 5.30pm onwards. All students must be seated by 6.15pm in allocated seats at the front of the theatre: your name will be on a seat in year level groups.
Photographs: After the ceremony, a photographer will be in the foyer to take photographs of prize winners with their trophies and families.
