2025 Student Council Applications

The Student Council is a great opportunity to represent the student’s views about the school, and work with the school community to develop and enhance the school around its values of Respect, Care, Community and Creativity. It is also a great opportunity to build and grow your leadership skills.

In 2025 we are looking for 5 representatives from each Year Level to support alongside the House Leaders and Prefects. You may also be selected to work with our Kahui Ako Student Council – which works with other schools.

The aim of the council is to support with initiatives within our community alongside the House Leaders / Prefects, to gain student feedback, to develop leadership and provide the opportunity to lead students’ initiatives.

Being on the student council, is one of many opportunities to be involved in the above way, with House leaders, Sports Council, Sustainability Council, Clubs and Relay for Life, being just a few of the many opportunities.

If you are not selected to be on the council, it may be that you are already on involved in other initiatives in school or that other opportunities may be more suitable.

Please complete the form below if you wish to be considered to be part of the LBC Student Council.

This application must be completed by Friday the 28th of February we will then be in touch in the week after with details as to your acceptance or not into the council for 2025.
