ANZACS remembered with online tribute

Each year, our student leaders commemorate Anzac Day at the Cenotaph in Browns Bay and one of our head students addresses the community at the morning services. This year, while in lockdown, we are proud of our College’s student leaders who came up with an alternative and creative solution to commemorating the day by digitally connecting our school community. Head Boy Luka Katavich designed a unique poppy of remembrance using photos sent in by students and staff.

The College’s librarian, Mrs Bailey, usually decorates the school library in memory of the ANZACs. This year, while in lockdown Alert Level 4, Mrs Bailey decided to commemorate the thousands of people who have lost their lives by decorating her garden instead!
