This year, Long Bay College presents Chicago, Teen Edition as our musical.
We have been working very hard this term on putting this show together and are looking forward to Razzle Dazzle you! The students have been exploring the world of the roaring 1920’s, what it means to be famous and how being a celebrity has different rules in place and you become above the law. We see a tale of showbiz, murder, courtroom drama, “merry murderess” in all their glory and the influence of the media and the storytelling that takes place. The costumes, set, props and music will transport you to Chicago and all it has to offer. The journey of Roxie Hart is at the core of the story but where she ends up without Velma Kelly and Billy Flynn? This is one show you will NOT want to miss.
