Heavenly Bodies School Production

Join us for the Senior Drama Company’s 2025 production of Heavenly Bodies — a modern love story that playfully intertwines elements of Greek mythology and Elizabethan theatre.

At the heart of the story are the three immortal Fates who, overwhelmed by the task of managing the lives of billions, realise they’ve forgotten how to have fun. In an attempt to reclaim their mischievous spirit, they interfere in the lives of two teenagers in Aotearoa. With the roll of a dice, they set a love story in motion — one destined to be unbalanced. With classic New Zealand love songs, plenty of theatrical surprises, and obstacles only the gods could dream up, Heavenly Bodies is a heartfelt exploration of love, fate, and what it means to be human.

✨ Performed by the Senior Drama Company — a dedicated collective of Year 11–13 students — this original production showcases the creative strength, collaboration, and bold storytelling our performers are known for.

Please note:

  1. This performance includes strobe lighting and smoke effects.
  2. Doors open at 6:30 PM for a 7:00 PM start in the Auditorium.
