In conjunction with Long Bay Primary, we have been working with AT for the past several months around the changes that are being made to the speed limits outside our schools. Unfortunately, AT erected signs with incorrect timing on them. The current times will be changed to reflect a safer window of time for the students across both schools. This should be completed within the next fortnight (we are at the top of the list).
Until then we ask you to remind your children to be extra vigilant on their way to and from school while these changes take effect. The new times for the 30km/h speed limit will be 8:00 – 9:30 am and 2:40 – 4:00pm.
The electronic signs as well as the fixed ones will display the same speed limit when this change occurs.
