Outstanding Scholar Award – Abbey PattenAbbey Patten, 2021 Alumni has been awarded an Outstanding Scholar Award. To qualify for this award you require a minimum of 3 Scholarships with two at "Outstanding"
level, or at least 4 Scholarships with one at "Outstanding"
level and a top two performance in at least one subject.
New Assistant Principal – Mrs Liese Strong
New Assistant Principal – Mrs Liese StrongPlease Welcome our New Assistant Principal Mrs Liese Strong. Liese joined Long Bay College 7 years ago and quickly took on the role of Head of Faculty for Visual Arts and Art History. She has now added the Assistant Principal portfolio to her list of responsibilities and is excited to have an integral part in shaping the future of Long Bay College.

Year 10 Art
Year 10 Art – Oceana SimmondsOceana Simmonds in Year 10 Art has created this wonderful image. Oceana has been looking at native New Zealand birds and has chosen to recreate an image of a Ruru/Morepork. She demonstrates her eye for detail in this intricate dry point etching. Well done Oceana!
Shakespearean costume designĀria Sparke, a graduate of Unitec with a Bachelor of Costume Design and Management came to speak with a number of our English classes about costuming with particular attention to Shakespeare – sharing her knowledge from years of working on Shoreside Theatre’s Shakespeare in the Park.
