As part of our culture of care, Long Bay College staff recently took part in ‘Good Sort’s Week’. The aim was to brighten up someone’s day with a kind gesture. Staff who took part each filled out a form about their favourite things. They received someone else’s form, and by using the information, they could do something small each day for that person, and in return, someone else did the same for them. Participants remained anonymous throughout the week and everyone was left guessing who their ‘Good Sort’ was, which added to the fun! Small tokens of thoughtful, creative and fun gifts were found in staff pigeon holes or on their desks, leaving the recipients with big smiles on their faces for the rest of the day.
