Leaver’s Day

It was the culmination of 13 years of school for our Class of 2020 on November 5. It has been an absolute privilege to be part of the student’s high school journey. We celebrated the last day with shirt signing, fun activities on the field followed by a sausage sizzle and a special assembly (there were some fantastic speeches from Julia Ford and Liam Jameson, a performance by our award-winning Hip Hop Crew, Sisterhood, plus some super funny awards, a Kahoot and some heart-filled speeches from our Principal, Deputy Principal and Year 13 Deans). The day ended with a powerful haka by our Prefects.

A very big thank you goes to the organising crew, particularly to the Prefects and Mrs Caren Leyland and Mrs Nicole Beeston. We also send our appreciation to our 24/7 Youthwork Team and to New World Long Bay for the sausage sizzle.

Long Bay College wishes our leavers all the very best for exams and we look forward to seeing where life takes each and every one of our students next.

We encourage students to stay in touch and to sign up to become a member of our alumni here.
