Iain goes next level in Maths competition

Congratulations to our Year 12 student, Iain Sweatman for qualifying for round two in the prestigious NZ Maths Olympiad Competition.

Round One took place in July where almost 200 students from 56 different schools competed and sent in entries. It is a huge achievement for students to attempt the difficult mathematics problem solving challenges. After Round One, 80 students were invited to to take part in Round Two. This was the test part of the competition and students from all over the country were involved from 30 different Secondary, Intermediate and even Primary Schools.  We congratulate Iain for taking part and reaching Round Two.
