Message from the Acting Principal – Welcome back to Term 3

Tēnā koutou, e te whānau of Long Bay College.

Welcome back to Term 3.  A term jam packed with opportunities: Year 8 Day, Arts Week, Technology Week, Winter Sports Tournament to name just a few.  The focus will definitely be on learning with Senior Formative Exams towards the end of the term.  It has been an encouraging start with students and staff in high spirits and we wish all of our community a successful Term 3.

We are delighted to share the triumph of our recent Enrolment Open Evening, as we welcomed prospective students and their whānau, into our caring and nurturing school environment with all three of our presentations fully booked and attended.  This event allowed us to showcase the outstanding qualities that make our school a hub of learning, creativity, and personal growth.

We thank our dedicated faculties and staff members who passionately shared insights of our academic programs, co-curricular activities, and our beautiful campus.  We thank our students who enthusiastically participated and left a lasting impression on our potential families, highlighting the vibrant and welcoming community that Long Bay College offers.

As we progress through Term 3, we are excited to report various events and activities that will be taking place during the term and ask for you to follow our social media for updates and happenings.

We wish you a thriving and flourishing term.

“Your attitude determines your direction”.
