Long Bay College’s Premier Netball team played Northcote College for the Senior A Division Final at the North Harbour netball courts in tough, windy conditions. Long Bay held a one goal margin going into the final quarter (17-16). Northcote came out firing in the final quarter and scored four unanswered goals to eventually win 24-21. It was a well played game by the girls in very trying conditions and ends a great season. The girls are heading to Upper North Island Secondary Schools Annual Winter Tournament and will be playing locally at the Netball Centre in Northcote from September 2 to 6.
