This years Multicultural Show is nearly here! Participating in the show is an awesome way to showcase the diverse cultures and talents at our school, and it is open to everyone. In Term 2 week 2 this year’s health class will be hosting pink shirt day, to spread awareness about bullying. There will be a Non-uniform Day that includes a gold coin donation. We will also have activities such as a bake sale, musical performances and a sausage sizzle. This will all be between O and M block under the cover next to the canteen.

On Thursday, market day is being held between the M and O block. There will be a variety of cookies for sale, including chocolate chip and triple chocolate. They will be sold for $1.50 each so bring some money to buy some delicious cookies!

CAYAD (Community Action on Youth and Drugs) is coming to LBC to host a kōrero about gender diverse youth and their experiences with exercise and physical activity on a Friday lunchtime in Term 3 (TBC). Would you like to learn the German language? If so, come along to our new German Conversational Language Club. There are no tests, assessments or exams. The focus is on learning a new language in a relaxed way. Email Mrs Pip at pmccosh@lbc.school.nz or just come along on Monday, 23 May.
