Last month, Year 10 Physical Education classes had the privilege of going to Woodhill Tree Adventures for the tree-top challenge course. The trip was part of the classes’ risk management assessment for Term Four. The morning before we left, we had to make sure that we were all equipped with the right gear and weather-appropriate clothing. Once at Woodhill, we were greeted by the instructors, who were ready to help us throughout the day. They taught us the rules and the safe way to climb. And once we were ready, we were off! Throughout the day, we all pushed ourselves to do the best we could and to challenge our fears. The whole class gave it our best. We were all on different levels yet succeeding to our highest skill level. The whole day was a positive experience for everyone, and we all enjoyed the trip thoroughly. Everyone learnt about risk management in the best way possible and had a blast on a trip to remember.
