Keeping up with Long Bay College

CREATIVITY AND COMMUNITY  ‘Preview Exhibition’

Two of Long Bay College’s core values are Creativity and Community, and the college has a proud history of strong performance in the Visual Arts. One key event that embodies these values is our annual ‘Preview Exhibition’ which was held in the last week of Term 2. This exhibition showcased portfolios in progress by our Year 11, 12 and 13 students from our Level 1 Art & Digital Art programmes as well as our Level 2 & 3 Design, Painting & Photography programmes. As always this was a hugely popular event with the exhibition being visited by hundreds of students, staff, parents and extended whānau from our community. A huge thank you to all that came to support and celebrate our very creative, talented and hard-working students; the calibre of work was exceptional, and we are very excited to see what they produce next!

ALL SHOOK UP,
The rock ‘n‘ roll musical comedy.

It‘s summer 1955, and into a square little town in a square little state rides a guitar-playing roustabout who changes everything and everyone he meets in this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy that‘ll have you jumpin‘ out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as “HEARTBREAK HOTEL,” “JAILHOUSE ROCK,“ AND “DON‘T BE CRUEL.”
Book by Joe DiPietro. Inspired by and Featuring the Songs of Elvis Presley.
