Minister of Education Erica Stanford Visits Long Bay College

We were delighted to welcome the Minister of Education, Erica Stanford, to Long Bay College for an engaging conversation with our Principal, CJ Healey, along with James Heneghan and Lauren Wing. The discussion on various aspects of education, with a special focus on our innovative work around Tino Akoranga and Mahi Tahi.

Tino Akoranga and Mahi Tahi represent key components of our educational approach, contributing to improved student engagement and achievement. The Minister’s visit provided a valuable opportunity to showcase these initiatives and discuss their impact on our students and community.

Open and robust discourse is appreciated for addressing the issues that matter most to our students and the teaching profession. The Minister’s willingness to engage in such discussions highlights the importance of collaboration between educational leaders and the Ministry.

We extend our gratitude to Erica Stanford for taking the time to visit Long Bay College. This visit reinforces our commitment to continuous improvement and our dedication to providing the best possible education for our students.
